Installation

1. Download the APK to the Android phone or tablet.
2. Open the downloaded APK.
3. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser or file manager you used.
4. Allow Google Play Protect to scan the APK.
5. Complete the installation and open Marine Barometer.

Android may describe this as installing an app from an “unknown source.” That means the APK did not come through the Google Play Store; it does not mean Play Protect is disabled.

What's new since 1.9.0

• a dedicated Calibration Instrument and guarded multi-point sensor calibration;
• Saved Places, one-shot GPS/MSL reference elevation, and editable Place latitude/longitude;
• routine Graphing separated from optional dated CSV logging;
• persistent Pause/Resume/Stop state cleanup and low-duty ECO background sampling;
• a digital Barometer pressure readout and the 960–1060 mbar normal dial baseline; and
• the v1.9.10 60-minute Barometer Lock for short excursions through changing elevation.

New dated CSV logs also carry absolute time and UTC-offset information so cross-time-zone travel is easier to interpret.

This is still a beta build. The aim is useful field testing and engineering stabilization before the clean 2.0 baseline.
